The hotel has been updated and we had newer carpet in our room, very clean. Outside of hotel was nicely kept up. Easy location and great front desk attendant when we checked in. Only complaint was breakfast, or the lack thereof. Both mornings we were there well before 10am, (8am one day and 9am the next) and no breakfast offerings other than coffee, and the 2nd day the coffee was ice cold. Otherwise a decent place.

It's a good place to stay. Only two things to note: 1. The room has very strong smell. I think it may be form the lumber or other materials they use, which is not very pleasant. 2. It doesn't have elevator so if you have heavy luggages that may be a problem.

We were late checking in due to a travel delay, and even though we had pre-paid for our stay, we had an issue checking in. The staff was friendly, and the issue was quickly resolved, but there should not have been any issues with a room that was pre-paid in full. Our grandson enjoyed the pool, and the laundry facility was clean and convenient. We were in Buffalo for Longmire Days, and the hotel was conveniently located for that event. Even with the minor-issue at check-in, we would book here agiain.

Pretty basic but it works
We keep having problems with the room keys. Front desk was quick to fix, but it was a hassle. The 1st floor has a heavy mold or mildew smell. We didn't smell it in our room on the 2nd floor but walking in and out to the parking area it was rank. The room AC unit are crazy loud - for all the noise they made they didn't work any better. Bfast was basic but worked. Although they had a pancake maker but it never worked while we were there anyway. Oddly they pre-made the french toast and you had to re-heat which left them hard and not very good. We were in the area to hike and play so the room wasn't a highlight of our trip - It worked well enough but for a few dollars more I may look elsewhere next time.
