The room was dirty. There was a full thick layer of dust in the cupboards. There is not even any bottled water in the rooms. You have to go downstairs and request water, which is charged. The room was not cleaned when we left for the day. The phone did not work so we would need to go downstairs every time there was an issue. There was calcification in the large jug serving water at breakfast.

Great hotel, close to the airport

Lovely hotel convenient for the airport, just 10-15mins away. Had a very good meal in the restaurant on the evening and a good nights sleep.

The property and the amenities were good, the staff were not cordial and when complaints were made there was no follow up by management. Dining options were not good, lack of menu choices, over priced and quality of food was just ok. I would not recommend this hotel.

I know Hollins Hall very well and was a member of the golf club for several years, it has gone down hill somewhat since Brittany’s took over! The main problem we had was the corridor to our room had lots of people going from room to room and leaving there doors open whilst gathering in groups, I had to go ask them to quiet down at 1.30am, which they did to be fair.
