The staff is what I am impressed with about this property. The hotel itself is going through a much needed renovation! The carpet is orange and brown, looks like it is straight from the 70's. I am sure it will be much better once they are done with the renovation. I was on the first floor. I had requested a handicap accessible room with two beds. When I got there Lindsey told me that all they had was a room with a king sized bed. It worked out because I was staying with my sister.
Lindsey was very friendly and immediately went and got the shower seat I requested and dropped it off in the room. I went up later and asked for more towels and the other girl working with Lindsey was very sweet and friendly and promptly got me some more towels.
I had to walk past a maid on the morning we were leaving and she was very sweet and friendly which is SO refreshing because most of the time they would just let you walk on by and not say a thing to you.
Also, on the morning I was packing to leave, my key card quit working. I went up to the desk and asked for her to update it and the employee was very friendly and completed my request promptly. EVERYONE i came across was SO nice. Your staff is amazing at this location and I will stay here again because of it. They need a raise! Everyone was so friendly. Please give them these compliments! Friendly people (even in the service industry) are rare these days, unfortunately!
