The property is nice, staff very nice , shuttle excellent. Rooms were clean . Surrounding area is run down but nothing to do with the hotel and similar in many other parts of the city.

I arrived to room with the bathroom smelling like the sewer had broken in it. I asked the front desk in there's cleaning bleach from house keeping I could use. He said they were all gone. I wasn't offered an an alternative room. I went to a convenient store next to the hotel and purchased bleach that cost $7.99 to clean the smell from bathroom. The AC in the room continued to make loud noise throughout the day and night, waking us up. The side entrance door slammed all night long, waking us up also. At breakfast on 5/26/25, the male servant was extremely rude. On today 5/27/25, while my companion and myself were having breakfast, the same gentleman continued to vacuum in same area as were eating.

Don’t recommend this for families with kids. The front desk guy that checked us in had a very hard accent and could barely understand him, he did not give us much information about our stay at the hotel, except the room number and the floor. The hotel lobby had a bad smoke smell, also the room was smelling smoke and had hair all over the bathroom floor. Outside of hotel, front and back, smelled weed. When we checked in some other weird people checked in too, like girls half dressed. In the morning, the breakfast server was kinda upset that she had to serve us, showed some attitude. This was our first stay in Shreveport, Louisiana and I am not sure if this is something normal for the area, but I definitely don’t recommend this hotel to families with kids.

Nice service, confusing layout

Staff at check in/out were nice, room spacious, great water pressure in shower, very nice pool area. Room smelled like cigarette smoke when we returned late evening. Tried to call front desk but room phone didnt work and unable to reach a live person when calling from cell phone. Didnt walk back down to lobby to complain due to room being so far away and didnt want to walk back again after already having to go down and sign a waiver for the pool after check in. Not sure why unable to do this at check in...this was a nice facility, but the layout was so confusing and I almost got lost trying to find my room and figuring out how to get back to the side door where I parked.

Need better desk help

When checking in , the guy in charge completely ignored me as I was speaking to him . He turned over the checkin to a younger guy. Nothing was explained except the location of elevators. Nothing told about, the bar & grill, checkout time, pool, wifi, etc. I trued to call downstairs several times with no answer . The lady checking us out was very friendly
