False advertising , no roll in shower for handicap
The hotel stated it was handicap accessible with a roll in shower. The bathroom was absolutely not accessible for physical handicapped people. There were no grab bars anywhere in the shower or near the toilet. The shower was small and you had to step over into it. There was no way to get someone in that shower safely that had physical limitations. False advertisement by the hotel. We called front desk to asked for the room with a roll in shower as we had reserved online and they stated that all of their handicap rooms looked just like the one we had and that none of their rooms on the property had a roll in shower. Being physically handicapped, it was extremely hard to get in and out of the hotel through the side door where the handicap parking was available. We would have never booked this hotel. Had we known there was no handicap bathroom shower. Getting in and out of a hotel in a wheelchair with baggage is extremely exhausting. It is difficult to swap rooms much less swap hotels. Having traveled all day and being exhausted, we stayed in the room, but was not able to use the amenities we had reserved and needed. Extremely disappointed will never book a Holiday Inn express again they never use Hotels.com again.
