This area has great potential but leaves very much to be desired in the area of customer relations. It seems the area suffers from economic blight. At there hotel there were a few excellent, helpful employees (Eric front desk stands out). Otherwise the friendliness factor was very low. Limited eye contact. No hello how are you when you walk in to the areas. This was observed not only at the hotel but also in businesses in the immediate area. Not many made us feel we wanted to return. The river and its views are very nice. There are many buildings downtown with beautful architecture but renovations are needed.

The room was lovely and clean, the staff was wonderful, but the property was boring. Being named Margaritaville, you would think it would be very active and fun. Not in our opinion. We were there for a girl's trip, unfortunately it was not what we were hoping. If you want a nice quiet casino, then this is gor you.
