The only things that kept this review from being a “5” was the construction noise. We should have been placed in an area of the property away from construction. On some mornings construction would start at 730.

Relaxing resort, great breakfast, pool and gym

We stayed at this hotel for four nights during our stay in Siem Reap. Starting from check-in to when we left, everyone was so friendly, kind and welcoming! We went during the off-season, so the hotel was not crowded and we were able to enjoy the amenities (pool, gym) with very few people around. The gym is quite large (one of the biggest we've seen during our Asia travels so far) and the pool is also very nice. The daily morning breakfast is delicious with a variety of different options including made to order omelet, crepe and soup stations. The hotel is about a 5-7 minute tuk tuk ride from the main tourist area. This wasn't an issue at all since there are so many tuk tuk drivers around it was very easy to find rides whenever we needed them. Highly recommend this resort! Would stay here again next time we visit.

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in all of my global travels! I highly recommend staying here. From the welcome team, a welcome drink and the kindness of all of the staff, you feel well-cared for and a little spoiled! The hotel is beautifully furnished and set back from the street, which ensures a quiet stay. We took advantage of the pool for a cool evening swim before bed. The pool towels were perfectly placed, so we could see them immediately upon walking into the pool area. Our hotel room was clean, spacious and perfect! We used the hotel robes to go to the swimming area. We loved the balcony with the swing bed, to enjoy our bottle of wine. A staff person kindly came and opened our bottle of wine for us. Breakfast was delicious and reminded me of why I travel so frequently to Asia! They provided both Western and Asian options to choose from. Once the staff heard we were going to a sunrise Angkor Wat tour, they arranged a boxed breakfast to be prepared for us by 4am! We were so grateful to begin out day with a solid breakfast. I hope you book this gorgeous hotel while in Siem Reap. I’m definitely coming back as soon as possible and bringing my friends!

The hotel staff was very friendly, and the grounds were beautiful. The ox club restaurant was great, as well as the breakfast buffet. Things I disliked were the room service food, it was poor quality. Also, the pool closes very early, at 7pm.

I had an incredible four-night stay at Borei Angkor Resort & Spa. I have never stayed in a hotel where every single staff member was kind, friendly, and as helpful as these team members were. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety of options. Also, the room was absolutely beautiful and had everything I needed. I loved the fish pond in the lobby and had to visit them every time I walked by! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. As a solo traveler, I never felt out of place or looked at funny like what often happens. Instead, I was treated like I was part of their family. It was hard to leave! Thank you to the entire team at Borei Angkor Resort for your hospitality during my Cambodian Adventure!

We arrived early and were given a room ahead of time. We were greeted by the Manager and another staff member explained the hotel. The staff within the hotel were respectful, courteous and extremely helpful. Amenities such as pool, sauna, steam rooms, cold plunge and hot pools and gym we used were heat! An enjoyable experience that we highly recommend and would return to.

My husband and I have just spent 15 wonderful nights at this hotel. Right from the moment we arrived, we felt special and welcomed. The room was pleasant with a lovely outlook over the pool. Good A/C comfortable bed and clean. Bottled water was provided everyday. Then onto the food from the breakfast buffet to the Sunset lounge the food was exceptional. Thank you to all the chefs that work behind the scenes, it was incredible. 4 restaurants to choose from if you wanted to dine in. Every day we were greeted with smiles and asked if we needed help with bookings or transport and at the end of the day greeted with 'welcome home". If your looking for a relaxing affordable holiday with exceptional accomodation Borei Angkor is highly recommended by us. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

The Borei is a great property and the staff is very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, but is mostly the same each day (still many choices). The facilities are nice (pool, sauna & hot tub, & the wt room). Everything closes down at 10p, and meals (along with guest services) are a little pricey. Overall, was a good experience and I would recommend.

The property looked nice in the pictures. However, it is quite old and outdated inside, especially the rooms. I paid a higher rate than my friends who booked through a travel agent, and yet I was given a very basic room compared to the others. Our Cambodian friend also booked on her own through another website paid the lowest price amongst us and yet was given the best room on the top floor of the hotel! The dining room staff were very nice and pleasant! Otherwise. It was not a very enjoyable experience!!
