The staff was excellent and very attentive. They showed us the are and helped with finding stores and locations to visit in the area. The room and view was great. We loved that the hotel was on the edge of Siena, but just inside the city wall, so that we could drive right up to the hotel and park but then walk easily anywhere in the city. The hotel itself was lovely, with fantastic staff and excellent breakfast. Our room was clean, very comfortable, with nice decor. We would definitely return to the Hotel Athena - perfect for us in Siena.

We had an excellent experience at Hotel Athena. We chose this hotel mostly because they had car parking included and the room price was reasonable, not knowing much else about where to stay in Siena. The town center is a short walk from the hotel and the staff was very helpful. They recommended a restaurant that was one of the best places we ate on our trip to Italy. Beautiful views from the rooftop restaurant as well.
