Fantastic views from our room. Need to be in shape to access the rooms. The access to the Palazzo is a 15 minute walk. You can park at the hotel parking area for about 15 euro/night. The staff is very friendly. You'll need to communicate with them if you plan to park at the hotel since they need to register your vehicle with the police. Siena is truly a medieval marvel and this property give you access to the wonders of Siena.

13 century monastery

The hotel is amazing! This hotel was a monastery built in the 13th century. Major problem, no elevator. The rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Ours was on the 3rd, hauling luggage was not fun. The other annoying part was the included breakfast started at 8am. We had an early train reservation which meant no breakfast for us. When we explained at the front desk, they didn’t offer any solutions.

The construction is going on around the area. I rather not stay in Siena generally. Lots of headache to get in to ZTL area and hard to get out of it. Google map is not accurate. Review saying breakfast is good but not the best.

Quaint hotel, delicious breakfast with a great variety. Lovely courtyard. We knew about the stairs up to the room, we were not aware of the stairs inside our room between the washroom and the bedroom. We had a rental car and the desk explained that we had to report when we came in or out of the city gate. However, we came back in the late afternoon and had a dinner reservation in a small town nearby. We could not go to that restaurant because we had used our privileges for that day. We were not aware of that clause and were disappointed. Also, not aware that a 15 euro per night charge for the vehicle.

They had no air. The heat was on . I got it turned off but it was humid . No screens on windows could not open them . No elevator so you had to drag your bags up the stairs. Overall it was not the charming place . In the pics looked renovated but it was not . Even the first floor was up stairs . Not good at all !!

Beautiful Siena

Wonderful stay in this quiet, comfy hotel. It was perfectly clean, good breakfast selection and stunning views. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Wish we're stayed longer.

It’s very unique to stay in a historic place built in 1200. The room was super quiet thanks to high ceilings and thick walls (you can still hear some noise). Those stairs are well worn but such a nice place to look around. We had a roof-top balcony but it was shared with two other rooms. Only once did we have company but the view and the Siena nights were wonderful. The breakfast had a very good selection for a continental breakfast and was quite tasty. However those mattresses on the beds were saggy and very worn. They definitely need to be replaced. Sadly we had a very poor sleep!

What a beautiful find. We were within the Walls of Siena. The views were amazing, the breakfast - fantastic! The staff was helpful and friendly. & there was parking! Would love to RETURN!
