Lovely quiet location, very helpful and friendly staff and great value for money

If you’re looking for a home away hotel then this place is for you with a bonus swimming pool. You’re allowed to use the kitchen and do self service all day just like at home. The place is really nice, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Alun - alun Kidul which is surprisingly comes to life at night along with all of local night entertainment and street vendors. Also walking distance to the viral Pasar Ngasem, a market where you can get local Yogyakarta food and more.

I stayed for a week and used this place as my base to explore the sites in and around Yogyakarta. It is conveniently situated for the airport and Borobudur. It is a haven of peace and the views are breathtaking. My room (Royal Stone House) was spacious and well appointed, with a fridge, a kettle and a safe deposit box. The bed was very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure that my stay was perfect. The breakfast selection is great. I would stay again. Recommended.

Staff were amazing! Very difficult though to purchase a glass of wine despite advertised on menu. Disappointing/surprised that a 4 star hotel charged £4 for an accidental breakage of a coffee cup! Hotel was fine for a couple of nights stay.
