A sweet spot that’s a hidden gem!
Great little hotel adjacent to the airport (about midway down the runway). Hotel is wonderful. It’s on the beach, has a bar/restaurant with excellent food and fair prices, chairs & umbrellas are free if you spend $20 in food/drink (p/p). Staff are very friendly. There is some noise from the planes at the airport, but it’s quiet at night. All the rooms are different with great furniture, comfy beds and kitchenette. Our friends had a tree that grows through their room! Called the tree house and has a deck in the roof. My room was in the lush garden with a wonderful private patio!

Mary’s Boon is an island gem. It’s very old but has such a laid back wonderful atmosphere. You are toes in the sand the minute you arrive. The beach is one of the best on the island. The restaurant is also very good and the staff are wonderful. Thanks for a great stay!

Property is on a great stretch of beach. Restaurant is good and most staff very friendly. Front of house surly and argumentative. Rooms very outdated. Shower facility lacking light. Room 104 had a water leak in the wardrobe from the wall cavity causing all the clothes to be damp and have a pool of water as you got out of bed! Reported to reception but nothing down. Room not fit for purpose but was being reset as we left despite needing attention. Also an issue over the extra fees to be paid at the property. Expedia invoice clearly stated the charges due but property charged a much higher fee. We asked what this was for and how they had come to that figure but they refused to tell us and stated it was in the price they charge Expedia and not what we had paid Expedia . Think it’s a bit of a scam so beware.

Mary’s boon is a true classic. Some unsightly properties in the area are not the fault of the owners. Beautiful beach and overall settings. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Dinner was excellent. Some rooms are being renovated. I hope it will be in the old style that brings up many warm memories of the Caribbean.

Quiet & Quaint Boutique Hotel
We got off to a rough start when we checked in and discovered that our room was not properly cleaned (floors had garbage from past guests and bathroom was not cleaned/dirty toilet) but spoke to reception and it was quickly remedied. From that point on, the stay was wonderful. All of the staff were very friendly and happy to assist in any way possible. The beach is beautiful and more than ample shady spots are provided to enjoy the amazing view without the sun beating down if you don't want to sunbathe. It is very close to the airport but it didn't bother us - we found planes were only taking off and landing between 8am and 4pm (give or take) and any noise "disruption" was very brief. If nightlife is your thing, it is a short walk to numerous restaurants and pubs (and little grocery stores) but it also provides a quiet, relaxing break with a restaurant overlooking the ocean - food was tasty, prices were comparable to other locations nearby (sometimes cheaper, especially during happy hour) and, for the most part, the service was fantastic. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again and do plan to return.

Service was very kind and efficient. The grounds were nice, the pool and bar were fun, the beach is beautiful and clean. My room was a bit tired looking and needed a bit of updating, but the value for what I paid was not bad.
