Nous sommes restés une semaine en début Septembre, en basse saison, au Simpson Bay Resort. Nous avons adorés le fait que la cuisine est grande pour cuisiner. La chambre était tous les jours nettoyée et les serviettes remplacées. La mer et la piscine sont bien propres et le personnel est très gentil et respectueux. Ce que nous avons préféré, c’est la location sur l’île - à moins de 30 min de tout, et plusieurs restaurants et épiceries à proximité. Un coup de coeur avec bon rapport qualité-prix que nous allons recommander chaudement à nos proches.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The resort itself is nice, but if you have trouble walking uphill, you’ll definitely need transportation around the property. The rooms are comfortable, though the furniture feels a bit dated—reminiscent of the older Caribbean style. The air conditioning could use some work, as the return flow isn’t great. Food was a major letdown: bland, overpriced, and far from what I’d expect at this price point. Overall, I’d rate the experience a 3.8/5.

We have stayed multiple times at this time of the year...mid August to mid September. Weather has been perfect. Fabulous staff and easy to navigate the property. Quiet for the most part and the beds are excellent. Great place to unwind and re-generate batteries. Would recommend and we will keep coming back.

I traveled in September which was the low season so traffic was very light. Many restaurants close in September due to hurricane season. Nice beach on property. Very Nice Vacation

Spacious rooms- we had ocean view with kitchenette and it was very spacious. All the appliances and kitchenware you would need. Staff was friendly. Beach was very nice, with beach chairs and palapas- about a 3 minute walk from our room. They provide beach towels which you can switch out once per day. Parking very easy- covered our outdoor. Overall a great stay and I would definitely return. I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The resort was family-friendly, lots of dining options, walking distance from the beach, very convenient. It felt very safe with lots of security at various locations throughout the resort. The little souvenir stores were cute and had lots of cute options - but they were never open when we tried to shop! I assume it could be due to “off season” timing, but still was a little disappointing. We really enjoyed the private beach with its pristine soft sand and clear water (no seaweed - major kudos!) Our room was quiet, which was a major plus and allowed for restful sleep. The cleanliness honestly could be better - there were some visible dusty spots in the room and in the bathroom, some hair in the shower, and one of the pillows was dirty on one side. Kitchen had no dish soap (why?). There were no bugs of any kind - much appreciated! The breakfast was really really good at Juliet’s Bistro, but lunch didn’t taste good at all. The beach bar was awesome with delicious drinks and appetizers, and all of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The staff at Juliet’s Bistro were also very friendly and welcoming, as were the front desk staff and the girl at the concierge. The shuttles at times were difficult to get and took quite a bit of time, but other times they were very prompt. Shuttle drivers were very helpful. Taxis were difficult to get at times, just a bit of info for those who don’t plan to get a car rental. Overall, would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful property! Easy check-in, staff was very helpful and kind. Rooms were so nice and clean, very spacious. Loved that it was located close enough to lots of shopping and restaurants and beach. My husband and I are excited to bring our kids with us next time. Staying here definitely made our trip that much better!

Amazing stay here at Simpson Bay Resort! Happy to confirm all the positive reviews about this place. Our room was very comfortable, airy and spacious. Had all the things to make out stay convenient, incl. microwave and dishwasher. We were in the B building on the 5th floor, so had lovely panoramic views of the ocean, however it was a 10mins walk up an incline from the beach. However with that, we had access to the largest pool on the resort, and it was quiet and relaxing away from the music near the beach. Beach itself was stunning, and we were lucky to have good weather most days to have crystal clear waters and turquoise blue views. There is a happy hour around the resort most of the time, and lots of restaurants to try (although wait time for service/food could be slow). Super convenient to have a supermarket onsite, offering modestly priced goods incl. baguettes, croissants, microwave meals, fruits, on-request deli sandwiches, drinks and alcohol. Even the souvenir shops were decently priced (much on par to shops we went to outside the resort), and not typical inflated resort pricing. During our stay (end of August) there were barely any flies or mosquitoes which was a nice surprise. Staff were so friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, everyone went out their way to assist us. There is a shuttle that can drive you around the resort on request to make your stay extra convenient, although waiting can be a while. Would definitely like to return to this resort

This is my second time staying at simpson bay. We were here in June had a great time! Our recent visit did not live up to the expectations. First we go to see if our room is ready and they gave us a key card, we go to the room and it was still being cleaned. Now i will say it was like 2pm so it was before checkout time but we were told and given the keys our dirty room. Shout out to the shuttle guy who work 6 to 3 antwan i think and man how bartended the B building thier customer service skills were top notch. So my friends and I were swimming at the beach and there was a swimmer in distress. We yelled for help as 5 or 6 staff members watched from a distance as myself and my friends 3 women struggled to get this man to saftey. I understand there are no lifeguards but a floatation device or buoy of some sort would have came in handy to atleast throw out to the name. We push to saftey and then my other friend gave him our float and he was able to grab a hold of it and we got to the shore at this time other make guest helped us. This whole situation was just sad a disheartening. If we wouldnt have helped, that man he would have drowned. Again i know it is some at your own risk but some type of safety device or protocol should be in place instead of staring and watching your guests do all the work. Other than the checkin and bear drowning situation the stay was ok.
