Great hotel, would stay again.

Highly recommended for a family stay. Family room consisted of a twin and a double room plus 2 bathrooms with showers. We also had a huge terrace which was handy to dry clothes after the pool. Rooftop pool and jacuzzi was also lovely. No breakfast is the only downside but there is a food court honestly a 1 minute walk away that does Asian breakfast plus waffles and fresh juices which my British kids loved! Though we would have loved a breakfast buffet. Very very close to 2 MRT stations plus a 3rd is 5 min walk away. We got a taxi to the hotel when we arrived but took the MRT back to the airport as it’s so easy to use and very cheap. That was with 2 kids plus 2 large suitcases and all of also had rucksacks. Highly recommend as a more affordable place to stay in Singapore. Staff were also excellent. Great hotel and would happily stay again.

Wonderful and modern hotel

We were warmly welcomed with an early check-in by the friendly staff. Our room was modern, spotless, and equipped with an excellent air conditioner. The pool was a lovely touch, and the gym was well-equipped for a good workout. The hotel's location is perfect, with easy access to the metro, shops, restaurants, and food stalls. Highly recommend!

At check-in, I did not wish to provide my email address. However, the counter assistant informed me that my email address was necessary to access the in-room WiFi. This is not true, WiFi could be accessed without my email address. I am not impressed by staff members either not knowing how the WiFi password works, or worse, telling an outright lie.

The staff is very polite and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. I enjoyed the amenities. During my stay I used the laundry, gym, and the pool. There are places to eat within steps of the property. There’s also a bus right across the street. The hotel has everything you need around it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Handy location for transit (Bencoolen or Bras Basah MRT very close, bus stop outside). Orchard road easily walkable. Modern and clean. Comfy room. Didn't investigate the bar. Marked down 1 star on eco friendly for having disposable tubes of shower gel etc instead of a refillable dispenser, which seems more common (at least in other countries)

It’s my second stay at 30 Bencoolen and I would definitely return next time. Great location, comfortable room and got to experience the pool and jacuzzi this time. Highly recommend for a short stay.

Accessible location

30 Bencoolen was a great place to stay as it was only about 50m from the MRT and therefore very easily accessible from and to the airport and Sentosa which I was particularly interested on visiting for an ocean swim. If you are prepared, then you can take a 45-minute walk to the National Stadium and the attractions there. A very handy location to the Bugis area and the tertiary institutions. There is so much to do and see in Singapore so if you have done Marina Bay etc this is a great location. Very close to a hawkers market as well

The bar is only open during the morning hours and early evening, and restaurant isn’t open at all. The staff is not very helpful and won’t ever leave behind the desk even if you are struggling with your baggage. The only time I saw anyone leave the desk was to quickly hurry us out of the pool 10 minutes before the pool closed (at 9pm) we asked for ice one night and the staff acted so inconvenienced. This hotel looks way better online than it is in person. The rooms are small and have no amenities. I wouldn’t personally stay here again with so many other nice hotels in the area at the same price point.

Great relief after bad experience

Got to this hotel as an emergency choice after our first choice turned out to be a disaster. Staff were very accommodating and let us in the room before the check-in time to find a good bed, decent bathroom and pleasant if neutral decor. Also good laundry, gym and pool facilities which we enjoyed using. Location is great right near an MRT station and very central so walking anywhere is a good option too.
