The photos on Expedia look far better than what it really was. The lobby and hallways were clean and looks newly remodeled. However, the inside of the room itself was below average. It seems as if the remodeling was only limited to the lobby and hallways. The bathroom ceiling paint was peeling terribly, there was no fan in there, so it gets mighty steamy, and there was hardly any toilet roll when we arrived. When I went to the lobby to ask for some, the clerk, who had a bad arm tattoo, but whose attitude was worse—didn’t want to be bothered. The MRT station is about a 15 minute walk away in the heat and humidity. May as well get a Grab or taxi. There are a number of good places to eat at in the vicinity. There was also a Fair Price grocery store next door, so that was convenient. One last thing, there was only one USB wall charger. Make sure you bring a wall socket adapter so you can charge your electronics.

Convenient for a layover. Rooms are very small. Bathrooms had mould. Rooms are tiny and no windows. I wouldn’t stay longer then 1 night here.

24hr fronk desk was useful as our flight was delayed and we arrived at 2 am. The room was large but only had "half a small window" (obviously internal walls had changed) and the carpet had some loose threads. More seating (ie a couch) would have been appreciated (there was space). Friendly and helpful front desk. The Joo Chiat area was great - nice architecture, good food and drink options and a nice vibe.

Good value

This was a good value and the room was quite clean. Comfy bed and quiet air conditioning. Liked the coffee tea service in the room. Shower was good. Did not like the loud drainage sound in shower when using sink! Fd employee was helpful when I had a small issue with a light in the bathroom and he quickly resolved it. Wifi was inconsistent which was an issue for me. Light comes through sides of blinds but otherwise room was fine. No breakfast at hotel but food court nearby.

Poor room service. We didn’t get room service the 4 days we stayed. They were supposed to on 2nd day, but did NOT. I had to go down to get more toilet paper and our trash was overflowing because there wasn’t phone in the room. Front desk staffs promised that it would be service the next day, again did NOT get room service. I had to go down to get my own supplies that were out. The wall also thin, I can hear the person next room coughing all night and threw up in the morning because all the coughing. There were hair in bathroom floor and stain sheets when we checked in.

This is a very clean and newly decorated hotel close to the airport. It is also located in the Joo Chiat neighborhood which is charming. It’s filled with renovated historic buildings that are now nice restaurants and other businesses. I was sorry that we didn’t have more time to explore this area. I would definitely recommend this property to others wanting to stay in this area.

I have traveled extensively around the world. I booked this place after reading the reviews, but was very disappointed! We booked the triple premier room for 3 of us. The photo shown on their is very misleading. The room is extremely small, to the point where you can barely walk pass the first bed to access the other two. We now lived in the post covid world, it is Not acceptable that the most basic hand soap wasn't provided!! Only 2 sets of towels for a party of 3. Shower stall had mold around the floor. 2nd floor which we stayed was quite noisy early in the morning from outdoor traffics. Poor sounds insulation! No phone in the room if you need anything from front desk. At slightly over USD 100 this is a budget hotel. Very limited hangers and storage for anything. If you are a party of 3, avoid at all cost. Location is decent surrounded by good cafes and local restaurants. PLQ mall is near by. Though not that close to subways.

Housekeeping is done every other day. Hence, just don’t mistakenly press (turn on) DND button by the doorway as a light switch when stepping out for the day. Don’t assume the housekeepers will change the mattress sheet because it’s not always done unless it’s requested at the front desk. Their TV channels sometimes have sound and other times no audio. Although front desk clerk says a technician will be in the next day to have it fixed, but it never did. Manager Laura was very professional. Front desk staff was pleasant.

For the price you’re paying, it would be better to pay a slightly higher price tag and go elsewhere. I’ve never seen a hotel that doesn’t offer some form of secure storage. The less than helpful front desk guy just tells you to leave your luggage by the front desk. While I was in the lobby he would leave for 2-3 20 minute increments leaving your belongings unattended. There’s no security personnel or key card, so in theory anyone could walk in and take your unattended items. Check in is strictly 3PM, while the front desk guy isn’t off at who knows where, he won’t bother checking if your room was previously occupied and may possible be empty for early check in, just a “the rooms still need to be cleaned.” The way this place is ran, you’re better off paying more or less for better security/value. Also the room was advertised much differently, there are no windows in the room, but I could have sworn the photos showed rooms with windows. Also please see attached video of the layer of dust under the sink that they needed time to “clean.
