Room not ready at 7pm
During checking at 7pm, the room is till not ready. There are few nights that cleaner only came after 7pm to make up room. There are only 3 lifts to serve more than 300 rooms. You may caught up of more than 10 min for lift during peak hours.

I’ve been a Marriott gold member for several years but stays like these make me really question whether it’s even worth it. I made the reservation through Expedia so they immediately removed any of the gold member perks. Furthermore they charged me a higher fee for my 17 year old daughter and said my daughter was considered an adult even though I had already agreed to an additional price for a 17 year old child through Expedia. Customer service was of no help over this. Aside from my disagreement with Marriott on this, the following issues at the hotel should be addressed: -The daily hotel rate is overpriced considering Singapore has so many better hotel options for the same price in locations that are better suited for experiencing Singapore. -Shower water temperature was incredibly inconsistent, getting extremely hot then cold on its own. -shuttle to metro is very limited. For a hotel being as far away from its nearest metro station they should really consider a better option. -Breakfast was incredibly overpriced and Aloft staff member checking us in degraded the many great cultural food options nearby in an attempt to get us to pay for the Aloft breakfast. -Room was smaller than other Singapore hotels. Only area I can say was truly positive were the guys working downstairs at the front door and guys that take care of your bags. They were very friendly and helpful. However I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful country of Singapore.

Clean. Good location. Mall right there. Only issue was there are 2 separate towers and you don’t get to chose which one you stay in. We stayed in the one without the pool.

During my fiancé's first trip out of Thailand, we stayed at A Loft in Singapore, an experience that, unfortunately, left much to be desired. Our room was notably smaller than anticipated, a disappointment that was only the beginning of our issues. Shortly after settling in, we encountered an electrical problem when a breaker tripped, cutting power to our air conditioning. While the presence of an ice machine was a small relief, the overall experience continued to decline. Breakfast at the hotel was mediocre at best. Having stayed in numerous hotels across Asia over the past month, I found A Loft's breakfast area to be particularly cramped and overcrowded. Seated outside by the restaurant host, our meal was further disrupted by lawn service using leaf blowers uncomfortably close to the dining area, rendering conversation nearly impossible. Moreover, I experienced bed bug bites during our stay, necessitating medical attention upon my return to Thailand. The bites, located on my right arm, right leg, and left elbow, prompted a report to the front desk to ensure the room would not be allocated to other guests before thorough treatment. The hotel manager, upon checkout, informed me that the rooms had been recently treated for pests and took photographs of my bites for hotel records. In compensation, we were offered a choice between a taxi service or a complimentary drink, neither of which addressed my immediate need for medical treatment.

A Hidden Gem In Singapore!
I had a delightful stay! I was in Singapore to celebrate my birthday. Being my first time in the country and at this property, I didn’t real know what to expect. When I got to the hotel I was totally blown away by the very warm reception from Sue and Mark. They took their time to explain everything to me in terms of getting around, places to eat, get a mani/pedi, etc. Sue made sure to let the manager know that I was there to celebrate my birthday. The manager did not disappoint as a delicious treat was delivered to my room on my special day. The staff on duty at the reception on my birthday were very eager to assist me in every possible way. The hotel was very clean, very close to eateries and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. If I ever find myself in Singapore again, I will definitely be coming back to Aloft! Keep up the nice work guys!

Hotel room as clean and modern. I didn’t get to take a walk around the property so I can’t comment on anything. I never ate any restaurants as it was only a quick visit to Singapore. Not too far from Marina Bay Area, probably about 15 minutes when there’s not much traffic. Handy supermarket which is attached to the hotel. Reception/check-in staff all very accommodating..
