2 room with 2 different feel
1st room was nice but service elevator adjacent to the room was extremely noisy and a/c was a bit dodgy, bed was comfortable. 2nd room we moved to after asking to move was a few floor higher, and on the opposite side of the service elevator, nicer room layout and quieter but bed not as comfortable, nice large mirror in room was good.

Every time I visit Singapore I stay at the Carlton. The staff are very attentive and friendly (special shout out to the bar staff and Kesh who take good care of you). Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast has plenty of options and great location in the city.

Excellent location. Right next to a mall with a good food court as well as bus stop and train stop. Breakfast is so so, almost lack lusting. Service is decent. Room is spacious and clean. Had a nice rest there.

Very good location, with many attractions nearby. Right across from a shopping mall and surrounded by bus and metro stations. Great breakfast with many options. The hotels coffee shop offered very good coffee and sweets. Very nice view from the room. One thing to improve for families with kids would be a kids menu in the restaurant for lunch and dinner and maybe a play room.

Great hotel in the city centre.
Local here. Was here on a staycation. Hotel room was spotless. Booked a room with a bathtub, my daughter enjoyed it lots. Had a great view of the city from 18th floor. Hotel staff were also attentive, I briefly mentioned in a request about my daughter's birthday, they surprised us with a cake and some fruits. Lots of bar and food options nearby the hotel, literally across the road. Short walk to MRT and a few bus stops away from other city destinations.
