Rooms were nice and clean, staff very friendly and the amenities were nice. Under 10 mins walk to the lavender MRT and nearby to some good places to eat. Only thing I'd say I wish could be better was the shower. Each time you take one, the whole floor of the bathroom gets covered in water

The location is out of the way, but only a 10 minute walk to the blue or green metro line. Staff was great. Rooms were adequate. Pool was clean and shady in the afternoon. No other facilities. Good for a one day layover.

Great staff and service, room was super clean, very close to the Lavender MRT station which made local travel really straightforward. Plenty of good food and bars nearby. Really appreciated the complimentary mini bar too

Really nice hotel, good room, great location near the MRT and lots of food options. The hotel has an attentive staff and pool/lounging area on the 5th floor. I only wish the hotel had a gym.

Nice stay but the hotel is bit noisy
The hotel is nice and the staff are nice. The location is good, just 5 mins from lavender mrt station. however, it is VERY NOISY!!! the rooms are not soundproof. You can absolutely hear everything in the street, so make sure you bring your earplugs

From looking at the photo's when booking the hotel to actually entering the hotel , wow all I can say is they must have used photo shop for editing. Reception is small but at least the receptionist was ok and inviting. On going into the room it was dark with all the curtains drawn most of the time we had to have a light on to see. Once we opened the curtains we could see why ! High rise flats looking directly into the hotel rooms even in the toilets and shower, if the blinds weren't down you gave a peep show . The room was clean but the amenities were poor as there were two of us in the room but only tea and coffee for one and not only for one person but for one brew . The wallpaper was dirty and at the bottom hanging off. To be perfectly honest my wife said it seemed a very sleezy hotel only ment for night callers . We went for a swim in the hotel pool and felt like we were part of a peep show because the high rise flats opposite overlooks the pool, you could see men and women pretending to be doing something so they could watch you rather swim or sunbathe, my wife felt so uncomfortable. In the room also I found the safe in the wardrobe which didn't work and after asking the receptionist about it he just didn't seem bothered until I raised my voice to get him to do something about it. Everyday we had trouble getting into the room with the electric card, the card was fine but the door handles itself wouldn't open the door . Again we had a very poor response from reception.

Room felt a little claustrophobic for 2 adults and a kid, although site said room could sleep 3. Noise on a Friday night was also quite an issue. Otherwise, room was very clean and great bathroom

It was quite noisy outside my room - you could hear something being repeatedly closed or dropped and it disturbed my sleep. It was also noisy when staff vacuumed the hallway outside. The carpets in the hallway looked quite old and stained, and they could have done a better job cleaning the walls in the bathroom. There was also no desk in the single standard room I got. The location is not bad, though.

Hotel Nu Ve Urbane is a comfortable budget type hotel right on the edge of Little India and all its food outlets. It was clean and the reception staff were helpful. Some aspects were a bit tired looking.
