The room was ok overall however there was only 1 outlet to charge cellphones, laptops and no charging outlets by the bed. The light switches weren't all working and the bathroom light wasn't working properly. Also there were a bunch of students staying on the same floor and we could hear them loud and clear.

Basic hotel clean and well located. Awful dining options, didn’t use complimentary vouchers so poor but plenty of places nearby. Poor cupboard space like all IBIS. Stayed several times. Very good price for the location and what we need.

This was a bit of a bait and switch. The pictures of the rooms when we booked were from the newly renovated rooms but they also have some old design rooms that I would not have booked had they shared the actual pictures.

It’s surrounding have a good mix of old and new, with modern shopping malls within walking distance. Excellent food choices around and near to Singapore’s IT Mall Sim Lim Square too!

No room service - we asked even for some utensils to use for food we got outside to eat in the room. We were told “nothing” was allowed to be borrowed for use in the room. Housekeeping staff spoke no English (just Mandarin - good that I know a little bit). Building is aging but generally clean. Room was VERY small for the price, but that’s Singapore at F1 time. At least it wasn’t far (250 meters) from the MRT. Area seemed safe.
