Hotel rooms are newly renovated. However there was the room phone is not able to call reception. I wanted an ironing board, and had to get down to reception to inform them. Room lighting is not enough. Need another 1-2 light points. Swimming pool is in another tower, which is inconvenient. Reception and rooms are in separate tower, inconvenient. Room had filtered drinkable water which was very handy abd useful.

Well located hotel
Excellent location close to City Hall and Hill St, easy access to all the main sites in Singapore. The room was comfortable with a large bed, good wifi and a large TV. The bathroom includes a shower and bath but was a little cramped. The common parts of the hotel are a little tired but there was upgrade works going on during our stay so potentially will be improved shortly. Definitely recommend at this price point.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times previously but won't be back again. The only good thing I can say is that they allowed us to check in about 2hrs early which we appreciated. Prior to that they also held our bags as we arrived on an early flight from London at 9am, which was also appreciated. They are in the middle of renovations at the moment. We stayed in what appeared to be a newly renovated room - didn't like it at all - just looks cheap and nasty! Absolute bare bones of a room, rock hard bed and tiny bathroom. We were in the separate tower to where the current reception is and had to drag our own suitcases up the street to go find our room in the other tower. Not what I want to do when I am checking in to a hotel! Didn't think much of our stay at all and the (new ?) rooms are terrible. There are other hotels in the area at this price point which offer a much better option. We won't be back here!

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially Mak who helped us out when we checked in. The location of this hotel is particularly convenient, as the closest bus stops and MRT are less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Plus the view from Floor 13 in the Peninsula Tower was fantastic! However. we were unaware when booking that the hotel would be under renovation, so we only had access to 1 pool in the main tower and it was pretty ordinary. Overall would recommend if you’re looking for a nice & convenient hotel to stay for a few nights!

The room was larger than expected and seemed new. Biggest smart tv I’ve seen in a hotel room. Bathroom was small but well formed although a shelf in the shower should be part of the design (even a hanging set up on the faucet to accommodate shampoo etc). Checkin seemed to take a while even though they found the prepaid booking immediately. I’d recommend this hotel and will look forward to staying here again in the future.
