The hotel is a 5 star hotel and facilities are excellent. In the central district of Singapore in Bencoleen district. As Singapore standard shopping and food court are nearby. Singapore underground tube rail is next door to the hotel. This was very convenient. However I have genuine concern with the Reception Staff and cafe /Bar/Breakfast time staffs of the hotel. During checking on 12/12/24 there were two Indian origin young ladies at reception. They were not welcoming. No smile no greetings. Their body language was telling me I am coming off the street and I shouldn't at this hotel. First they mixed up with my bookings. I had booking from 13/12/24. However I came a day early on 12/12/24.My family friend at Singapore book this extra night for a Deluxe room. All my other nights booking was for superior room. My friends Deluxe room was slightly expensive than superior rooms. They told me that I am staying one night (12/12/24) only. When I advised them I am staying 4 nights they demanded to see the proof. They never refunded me the difference. Also the breakfast room at Reverie staff was two Chinese origin staff who didn't trust me that I can pay for my breakfast. Again their body language was telling me I shouldn't be at their Breakfast bar. However I found the concierge staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay at this hotel again with my wife in future but not for these staffs at reception and breakfast bar but for this friendly concierge staffs.

30 seconds walk from MRT bencoolen downtown line. 1 min walk from subway, 1 station away from Wendys (rochor), 45 min from airport by MRT. extremely convenient lication. 7-11 was 10 seconds walk from hotel side entrance. large room, quiet. Could walk till the end of Orchard Street from hotel then take MRT back. MRT connections to botanical gardens and Gardens by the bay. about 15 TV channels, including Bloomberg and CNA. room was a little dated but bathroom seemed recently renovated. Refrigerator in room. Clothes line retractable in shower to hang washed underwear etc. on.

Hide Out in Rendezvous
We often choose Rendezvous Hotel when we visit Singapore. It is very conveniently located, close to Plaza Singapura, the bus line, and MRT. There is a convenient food centre next door and a 7-11 downstairs. The housekeeping staff does an admirable job. They are responsive to guest requests.

Good location and ideal for a family.
The hotel is ideally located on the centre and you have plenty of options for public transport. Orchard Road, Bugis centre and Raffles hotel are nearby. The decor is a bit outdated and the rooms need a revamp. The occasional toilet smell in the bathroom can be off putting. The breakfast is okay but limited options and not refilled quick enough. I would stay here again but would like to see some improvements.

My stay at Rendezvous was okay. The corridors looked very old and in urgent need of renovations. Carpets are stained and discoloured. The breakfast was below par in East Asian standards, the sitting at the restaurant was very bad.
