I will stay again
For a boutique style hotel - the Scarlet is really good. The staff was friendly and accommodating - late check out approved without any hassle. The bed was firm, which gave me a perfect sleep. My accommodation included a free mini bar, which was really nice. Lots of restaurants, nightlife and Chinatown within walking distance. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, without the fuss - this is it.

Everyone at this hotel is so helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay. They even offered to hold my bags which were delivered AFTER my stay due to an airline mistake. They upgraded me to a King Suite as well. Lovely place.

Great location close to MRT, staff were fabulous and rooms clean and comfortable. They had special little touches the big hotels don't. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Singapore

A pleasure for the senses!
This was the most enjoyment I've had an hotel in years. The Scarlet is striking and opulent with clever, intimate lighting. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. I was allowed to check in a couple of hours early without an extra charge. Mini-bar is free and restocked daily.

This property is in a great location and a 3 minute walk to Maxwell MRT station and Chinatown. Lots of food and restaurants around and the convenience stores are well located. The only issue is there is too much noise on the street which is echoed into the Suite that we stayed in. The suite windows were located at the front of the hotel almost on the corner so we could hear people talking, cars driving, and construction across the road. Double glazing windows may be an option for this Lavish suite . Not sure what the other rooms were like. It has a rooftop bar which was great but no food. Overall great location and nice hotel.

Great boutique hotel near Chinatown and the Maxwell Centre, really handy for everything we wanted to do in Singapore. Staff were amazing, enjoyed the rooftop bar. For coffee afficiandoes, try the Maxi Coffee House a short walk around the corner from the hotel. Would definitely stay again.
