One night stay over guest

Most striking was the friendliness and helpfulness of staff despite not being the most experienced; the design elements in the bedroom were as expected and of high quality. I was surprised by the entrance foyer, check-in counter and 8th floor corridors which I thought were not commensurate to remainder of hotel. Staff uniforms too were a bit ordinary. Despite the above the high level of service and bedroom amenity (overall) I will be a return guest in the future.

Excellent Staff. Great location. Postmodernism subtle but firmly coming from every corner. The rooms are not so big but very comfortable. Love the windows. Great place for a stay.

I was there just for one short overnight stay, but I was really impressed with the hotel. Very comfortable, very clean and the staff were great. And the breakfast was excellent! You can order from an "ala carte buffet" menu which is kind of interesting, and all the items I ordered -- from typical Western bakery items and egg dishes to spicy Laksa -- were outstanding. Definitely consider this property when choosing a hotel in the area!

It’s a beautiful property! Staffs are friendly. Sukra who works in the restaurant was so nice and sweet. He made my dining experience more comfortable. As for the hotel, it’s beautiful and we will book here again if we come back to Singapore

Good for sleeping - not a resort

Cool property about 15 min walk to Orchard Rd. Quiet area. Nice pool area, very different to other The Standards though. No gym, no spa, no steam room etc. I am uncertain who this hotel is pitched out. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Staff were excellent. Windows were soundproofed, however the doors were not. Meaning you could hear any noisy neighbours. Lovely quirky hotel, but like much of Singapore, the food and drinks were quite expensive. Outdoor space and pool were wonderful.

Really cool and comfortable

The Standard has just opened and I loved its whole design vibe. I had a room on the 8th floor with a full window view, zany design, good room service. I wished I could have stayed longer. The only downside is that it's not yet on Google Maps so the taxi had difficulty finding it.

Everyone was so warm and welcoming! The property is beautiful as well. Takes about 15 minutes to walk to the orchard MRT station and then you can get anywhere in the city really fast and cheap. Highly recommend!
