It was a beautiful older property but our room had modern amenities including a toilet with heated seat and bidet with hot water & a dryer. The bathroom mirror had a TV in it, too, with it's own remote control!

Fantastic Art Deco Hotel

Didn’t feel like a luxury or even clean hotel
Reservation was wrong, staff wasn’t helpful, dinning establishments were not open even though they were heavily advertised, and the room wasn’t clean. Bathroom floor, tub, shower, toilet and sink were covered in hair. Trashcan wasn’t emptied, and every drawer had dirt or hair in it. This was an expensive stay and the hotel didn’t reflect the value.

The stay was wonderful. It was located only a block away from the Orpheum where the concert was held. We had a private balcony which was wonderful. Even though there was a lot of city noise, police sirens and trains, the room remained quiet.

Hotel was amazing, one of the waitresses seemed to despise children at the hotel restaurant. We were waiting for other people to join us, same waitress kept asking if we’re ready to sit. Told her we’re waiting on people, then she eventually made us sit, and then our guest weren’t even near us once they came down to join us. She seemed super rushed to get us in and out.

Supposed to be pet friendly yet they had no area for pets to potty other than some very small landscaped areas in the back alley which were obviously not meant for pets. Desk staff were smug. The room was grimy filthy. The commode with the bidet smelled strongly like an outhouse. The counters, door handles, and product dispensers were smeared up with something. The coffee maker had rust colored sludge in the water reservoir. AND THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A LUXURY HOTEL??? Nope
