condition of floors in room and no microwave.

stay was overall good, surprised by the stains on the carpet and no microwave in the room. Bathroom floor was sticky, otherwise the stay was good. Restaurant had great food and service was great.

Beautiful but no coffee

Beautiful venue for the writing conference I attended. My only comment is that there was no coffee other than in the room. The restaurant did not have it on the menu after breakfast. No coffee urns on main floor by the conference room.

As mentioned in a previous review, the Sioux Falls Sheraton is an old favorite. I used to be an exhibitor at a few shows every year at the nearby convention center and always stayed at the Sheraton. That was years ago, however, and the place has lost a step or two since then and could use some renovations. But it will continue to be my go-to whenever I am in Sioux Falls.

Did not get what we reserved.. wanted king size ended up with 2 double beds.. lighting in room wasn’t great and air conditioner would not kick on so it felt stall and humid in our room… staff was friendly for most part and the convenience being next to Denny Sanford event center made up for it.

The breakfast was horrible. Very cold. Was told we would get vouchers for breakfast. Get down to breakfast and ask, no the vouchers were not included with the rate you paid. The room was so humid the carpet felt wet, and the whole room had a musty smell.

We ended up getting to the hotel a couple of days after other people from our team had arrived. When we got there, we learned that two of the families had found bedbugs in their rooms. They moved to other hotels. Overall, our room was just not super clean. They were very visible urine stains on the couch mattress and we left after one night.
