The staff were great - very friendly and helpful. There are some parts to the hotel that are slightly dated. The room was generally clean, but there were some areas that could be improved. The area around the hotel is great - lots of facilities on the doorstep, and the beach.

While the hotel is dated decor-wise (especially the bathrooms) it was clean and safe and is in a great location. The staff are very pleasant and the breakfast buffet has ample choice. We have stayed there before and will do so again.

Good property for the value at the time of booking compared to most places which had higher rates. Room was pleasant, good AC, good bedding in double room. Balcony was nice to have a quiet wine in the evening.

Stayed at the Subur a lot of times and noticed that a lot of the beds, well mattresses need replacing. Quite uncomfortable with big dips in the middle of them.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room appeared to have been repainted since last year. Housekeeping was good. The only major problem was that we experienced on three occasions at night there were several live cockroaches in the room. We had to buy insecticide spray and swat them. An unpleasant experience which hasn’t happened in this hotel over many visits.

Ok for a flying visit

Was a two night trip and adequate for that amount of time. A litter work in places and limited working plugs. Sound does travel from other rooms. I would stay again for a short trip again.
