This stay was truly excellent, clean cottage, great water pressure, the hot pot/spa is amazing, the views are gorgeous and it’s just quiet and beautiful. Would highly recommend!!

We stayed with two kids and it was great. Nice friendly staff and animals. We didn’t try the hot tub or sauna but they looked great and we saw others trying them out. Breakfast was good (especially the cakes!). Very close to Krokur (small town) and lots of activities nearby (horse riding, hot spa, turf houses)

Located in Hofsos, small town, as others have noted, the details says restaurant but there is not one on site or even in the town. There is a convenience store across the street that has pizza and sub sandwiches, that is the only nearby dining option. The kitchen is nice but small. The whole time we were there two ladies in the other room camped out in it. Be aware also that it's not clear the actual property from the photos but it's the 8th or 9th photo. Not the black house. The rooms are simple but clean. Shower is a little small but you have your own. The local pool was great, stunning views and a nice little walk after off to the side to view basalt cliffs.

Great little place with history in a really good location. Wonderful restaurant.
