NO ELEVATOR. TRY CLIMBING IP THE STAIRS WITH LUGGAGE shuttle from the airport is advertised but is either to or from. Not both. There is no shuttle as such a hotel staff drops one off at the airport in her personal car so again if there is lot of luggage one has a problem. For one night after dropping off the car and with an early morning flight it was good enough. I had no greater needs so it sufficed. But as a place to stay in Reykjavik it is not great. One point check in luggage and security at kef airport is horrible. So you need at least three hours to be safe even for EU Flights

Great people and wonderful breakfast.

The unit was great, a little warm, but probably not often a problem. Kitchen was nice, loved the coffee provided, the bed was super comfortable, and the wifi was great. I only had a problem with the bathroom, if the transition at the door can be removed and a thinner mirror put in that would be great.

Literally in the heart of Reykjavik, everyone was so close by, all the restaurants, tour pickups, bars, etc. Place was clean, and we'll kept. Would definitely use again when we're back. Communication was also excellent.

Great location and apartment. Right in the center of it all

Great place if you need to stay in Reykjavik with your family. Can't beat the location, it is very close to everything: few steps away from a famous bagel place and at least half a dozen of restaurants, literally across the street from the old port and bus stop #4, only few minutes away from a center city and at least 2 grocery stores. Apartment is clean and spacious for 4 people and has all the essentials including full kitchen and washing machine. One thing to note: hot water has a pretty strong sulfur smell (it seems to be the case in many places in Reykjavik). Didn't bother me much but my wife and daughter kind of hated it. There is no designated parking lot but plenty of street parking nearby and we were mostly walking everywhere.

The host was amazingly helpful getting us into the apartment, as we had arrived early. She allowed us in to store our luggage while we got some lunch. The apartment was spacious and comfortable beds/pillows. Close to the Harbour and restaurants. The couch in the living area was extemely uncomfortable and broken. This should be replaced for future guests. Otherwise very pleased with our choice at Kartuki.

Great place to stay for multiple days. The apartment has pretty much everything.
