Weekend well spent at the Lister Arms that I intend to repeat! Great location for visiting a lovely part of the Yorkshire Dales. Check in was welcoming and well organised. The room was lovely with a large comfortable bed and ample space in the bedroom and bathroom, plus ample free parking. This is a dog friendly hotel and there seemed to be lots of guests with their dogs, as well as oursleves. The hotel is set in a lovely village with lots of green space easily accessable from the rooms to take the dog out for toilet breaks and beautiful countryside walks. We ate dinner in the pub, which was delicious and breakfast was equally delicious with the same high quality, local produce. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had a lovely stay at the Lister Arms with our dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast during our stay. Our dog particularly enjoyed the dog treats and her bowl of sausages at breakfast and there were beautiful walks to take her right on our doorstep. We would recommend and love to go back again.
