A lovely hotel and pub with excellent food. A very large garden for eating outside and taking advantage of the sun. Yes, we had a sunny day! Our room was excellent and spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Should we pass this way again we'd certainly make another booking.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were delayed in our travels and arrived after the kitchen had closed. The staff were very kind and accommodating and made us a lovely dinner. The food was exceptional! Additionally our room was terrific with a great shower. We will definitely return to do some hill walking nearby. Only wish we had stayed longer!

Great staff friendly and helpful, nice relaxing atmosphere, very nice breakfast, only two very small suggestions would be nice to have longlife milk sachets or similar in the room save having to go down stairs and ask for milk, and could do with a shelf in the shower no where to put shampoo ect when showering

We only stayed for one night but had our evening meal and breakfast which were both fantastic. Staff were very helpful on reception and in the restaurant. A lovely old property with a cosy feel and an open fire in the evening. my only negative was the room could have done with an repaint to keep up the standard but the room was lovely and clean. I would stay here again.
