When I booked this hotel they advertised a pool. They don’t have an operating pool. The room keys barely work. Or I have to keep getting them fixed. The air conditioner is extremely loud. The light keep flickering. The staff is very friendly by thr property is ran down and nothing seems to work quite right. The only ice machine is in the 3rd floor. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

At time of arrival, walked into room, found it to be dirty. A bug on the bed, bathroom was not cleaned properly and the pool was closed. Looked as if it had not been open for the season. Highly disappointing. The staff at the desk did not seem to care.

I rented two rooms. One for me and one for my sister. Her first room the tv did not work. She told them and they said they would send someone to fix. Never came. She complained 6 hours later at 10pm. They told her they couldn’t fix they would change her room. The 2nd room the air was broke. Third room worked. My room the air was broke. Second room reeked of pot and cigs. Third room was ok. It took 6 rooms for two reservations. Rooms were clean though.

My first stay with a Choice hotel was a treat. We were met quickly with friendly and helpful service. The rooms were ready for us upon our arrival. The hotel was remarkably clean, although we were disappointed that the pool was not in service during the visit. The hotel is conveniently located across from the Carowinds amusement park. Cracker Barrel and Quick Trip (a gas station) are within walking distance of the hotel—plenty of other restaurants are located nearby. We would stay again!

Worst hotel i ever stayed at. The room smelled like mildew. The bath area was tiny. Blankets on beds felt moist even after we left for hours and came back. Not sure what they had for breakfast as we didn’t waste our time going. We only came for the weekend to go to Carowinds. Next time we will stay somewhere else.
