The card machine was down when I came. Receptionists asked for a card to hold for any potential room service, although they don't offer room service, and I didn't request any. Took £40 off my card. I got to my room, and within 30 minutes, the electricity in the room tripped. Staff couldn't turn the electricity on, so I had to pack all my luggage and move to another room. Without notice, I was woken up at 9 am by banging on my door to clean the room, although checkout is at 11 am. Terrible stay and no compensation offered!

Nice hotel, needs a facelift in some parts

Nice hotel, comfortable room. Looking a bit dated and tatty in some areas though. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I did have an issue with someone opening my door in the late evening. Turned out reception had given him the wrong room. He must have heard the TV as he opened the door though as he didn't actually enter the room.
