The staff were lovely, really made the children especially feel welcome. We really appreciated the activity packs, ty, it was a lovely touch and kept them busy. Hotel room was very clean, comfortable beds and very quiet.

It was definitely not a 4 star hotel. It was very noisy and I had to complain, ie people talking and the TV too loud in the room next door which had inter-connecting rooms. The rooms looked tired, the shower was mouldy. The restaurant was ok and the bar staff super friendly

My dissatisfaction with this hotel is limited to the breakfast service. With the exception of the bacon which was good, the cooked breakfast items were very disappointing: the scrambled egg was tasteless and had the texture of soft cardboard. I imagine it was oven baked! The sausage was unpleasant. The mushrooms watery…. The following morning (Sunday) I was going to just have fried egg and bacon… but we arrived at the dining room at 9.58 am to find out that the service closed at 10am. They asked us to grab as much we wanted but there were no eggs left. Closing that early on a Sunday is ridiculous. I heard the waitress tell another annoyed customer that on bank holiday weekends they close at 10 am on Sundays and Mondays! Our room was good but I would never stay in this hotel again because of the breakfast!

Our reservation hadn't processed when we arrived after a long day leaving us waiting in the lobby with tired kids for 20 mins. Charged for carpark the next morning having not been pre advised of a charge. Meat at breakfast was awful. Very disappointing stay
