Awesome place!

Great little hotel, beer garden out back, friendly staff. Take the 81 or 703 bus, it is like 3 bucks and drops off right in front. Leaves every 20 minutes back to airport! Skip the expensive cab ride. Soooo much better than airport hotel, built in 1106 fun place to stay.

Nice place, needs some TLC.

Nice property with friendly staff. Bedrooms were very hot (due to recent hot weather), no opening windows so couldn’t get any fresh air, no air con but a fan was provided which helped. The bathroom could do with some maintenance - broken toilet seat, paint peeling, mould around shower, etc. Despite the heat, I had a very good nights sleep, the bed was very comfortable. The TV was an internet one so couldn’t display any regular tv channels. The food in the bar was excellent and plentiful! Highly recommend eating here.

The room was nice and had everything we needed for a one night stay. We stayed in room 1 which was right on the road meaning you can hear all the traffic going by. Also as it’s very close to the beer garden you could hear a lot of noise from the people in there and this went on until 1am which wasn’t very pleasant. I understand its a pub hotel so expected some noise from other people but thought 1am was just a little disrespectful

This property is absolutely amazing. When i saw it was built in the 1100's I knew I had to stay there. When my daughter and I checked in, after parking in a nice off street parking lot behind the property, we were greeted by Cherry. She is such a lovely woman. Right off I felt like I was talking to someone I had known for years. We arrived earlier than check in time fresh off the plane from Dallas so we were hungry. We settled into the dining room and had a delicious full English breakfast. After eating we got settled into room 3. The room is stunning. The old iron fireplace is a work of art. Old meets new in this room. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept on. The bathroom has an incredible walk in shower with a rain shower head. The property also has a beautiful garden area. We sat out there a few different times to both eat dinner and have a pint of delicious local hard cider. I cannot recommend this property enough. I can't wait to return to England so I can stay there again.

This inn is fantastic. Quirky (who can beat an inn from the 1100s with a colorful past?), comfortable, and very reasonably priced for value received. The staff were absolutely lovely with our young, jet lagged family. Food in the pub was delicious the two times we ate there. Note - despite its easy access to Heathrow, the Ostrich Inn is in a small village, so late night food options are non-existent (plan accordingly if coming on an overseas flight). Very simple access to Windsor Castle and Heathrow airport using the bus that stops very close to the Ostrich Inn on High Street. 10/10 would come back. Thank you!

I love the ostrich and this is my second time staying here. The steps are a bit much but it was erected in 1106. You couldn’t ask for nicer people, the food is great. Only thing is we had an early flight and it was a Saturday night with a pub so of course no sleep. But that’s not the fault of anyone but ours we should’ve brought earplugs because everyone was just having a great time.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good size clean room with plenty of car parking space. We eat in the restaurant and the food was very good and reasonably priced. A great location to stay overnight if traveling early morning from Heathrow.

This property is so convenient to Heathrow and Windsor Castle. We stayed two nights. This is an old historical establishment with quirky ceiling heights and tons of character. Staff are amazingly supportive and kind. Food is delicious. Rooms are small but well appointed. Parking is a bonus! Highly recommend as a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!
