Would Give it a Miss
The Best Western Bristol looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the 1960s. Dark, dingy public areas and the rooms are also very tired with stained carpets. The room and linens were clean and the reception staff very helpful, but other than that, the hotel is poor. We went for breakfast at 9.30am and there was hardly any food left. They eventually replenished some items, but it was not a good experience. I have never left a two star review for a hotel before, but I think it is justified in this case.

Okay'ish hotel in Sofia
The Best Western Bristol photos over-flattered the reality of the hotel. The overall feel was that the hotel was tired, breakfast was a bit limited and there is no Lobby Bar. That said, it was close to the city centre, it was clean and comfortable, the staff were extremely helpful and the price was good.

This hotel was a great price including breakfast. It was walkable to the main attractions. The room was large and clean. The young man who checked us in was very helpful. I would stay here again if visiting Sofia. The only issue was that the bathroom door didn’t shut properly.

Close enough to a Metro station (the Sofia Metro is excellent and by far the best way to get to the airport - less than 1 euro). Nice hotel with everything you need. 5 minute walk to the centre.
