This location needs TLC
Good area, friendly staff, but facility needs a LOT of TLC! The elevator is terrifying (it even stopped working while I was inside), the carpets in the hallways are filthy and coming undone, and the bathtub floor was dirty. Overall, not a great stay.

This is an older property but has been updated. Everything was great and the staff were very friendly. My only suggestion is to replace the carpet in the common areas. We just booked an overnight stay and will stay again should we ever need a night or 2.

This hotel is old. It does not compare to other Holiday Inn Express hotels I've stayed at before. I would not stay here again. I was not comfortable. It just seemed dirty.

FIRST TIME STAYING IN SOLANO BEACH. LOCATION WAS CLOSE TO THE EVENTS I WAS GOING TO IN DEL MAR AND LA JOLLA. THE BED AND PILLOWS WERE COMFORTABLE. I LIKED THAT I COULD SEE MY CAR FROM ROOM. APPRECIATE THE BREAKFAST PROVIDED.

We’ve always been happy with Holiday Inn. This time was not a good visit. Front desk staff was wonderful. Location was good. Restaurants in walking distance. The room could used updating, especially the bathtub/shower. That can be overlooked. But the roaches on the counter ruined the stay for us. Our first bad experience with Holiday Inn.
