Contacted front desk at 11pm. room sharing a wall and middle door with us were extremely insensitive with the noise production. there were at least 2 adults and 3 kids in that room. kids were slamming the door coming in and out, stomping on the ground, and screaming. mentioned the kids to the front desk, which they said they’d “take care of it” for me. quiet hours had just begun (i assumed it was 10pm like most hotels but seems like not the case here). mind you they have been going at it since they arrived to their room around 830pm or so. it wasn’t until 12:20 that i heard staff knock on the door to notify the room. it took a whole hour until 1:30 for the room to finally quiet down and go to bed. i had to be up at 6.. this was not a pleasant night whatsoever. it took very long for staff to do anything about the complaint and add on the time it took for guests to finally go to bed (they obviously didn’t care about the warning as they continued to scream and sing). NOT ONLY THAT, but earlier in the day when we were out, we came back to our room to find the door we share with this other room to be opened. i assume the kids were curious and tried to enter. when we first checked in, the lock was positioned to where the arrow indicated for a locked door.. we didn’t realize that even though it was facing the direction of the arrow that it wasn’t fully locked! that is on us for not confirming the locked door, but i would’ve hoped we would be entering our room with the utmost safety.
