The property is clean and staff upfront is helpful. However if you are traveling with older folks you need to be careful. The floor under the carpet is uneven therefore for older parents it’s easy for them to trip. My mom fell and possibly might have a fractured arm. I will come to know once I take her to the emergency upon returning home. My dad almost tripped. There was another lady behind us on another day that almost tripped. So watch your steps while walking to the rooms at the back of the property. We stayed 3 nights. And everyday we asked for rooms to be clean and it was never done. The first morning we woke up my father called me to his room and indicated there was a blood stain. I informed the manager. They came quickly and changed the sheets for his room. They tried to tell us that it was fresh blood but I examined my father. He had no fresh cuts on his legs. We are currently staying with Holiday Inn at west manhattan and this is not the case. Without asking our rooms were made and clean towels upon return at the end of the day. I wish all HI hotels would maintain the same standard. I never like to write reviews specifically negative ones but I thought I shd let the property know of uneven floor under the carpet.
