The hotel is located right off of 202. Though the exterior is unappealing the room is very clean and bright. Parking was right outside of my door. It was quiet and I felt safe as a solo female traveler.

No maid service staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was only waffles and toast.If you like historic old bridges there are alot of them. Battleship nj is an hour away. Black river&western train ride is 5 miles away.

The woman innkeeper was Wonderful lovelyperson. She was very personable and when we needed extra blankets and pillows, she brought us them. For the breakfast, there was teabags and hot chocolate but no hot water and for my eggs I would’ve liked to have put on some salt, but there was only tons of pepper packets. Didn’t see anyone in the breakfast area that could help. Only stayed one night on our way home. Looking at the hotel I was on the second floor, but when I drove around, I was on the first floor. Which was kind of cool, with a walkway outside, so basically I had two doors. The bathroom when the light shined on the floor, you could see splash marks around the toilet on the toilet seat in the back of it you could see clear remnants of water?! The TV had only a couple of channels, but lots in Spanish. Many buttons on the remote and two little buttons for the volume and the power in the middle of the remote. We had two queen beds that were very comfortable. When we entered the room, it was at 63°. Turned it up and it was perfect, but the air was very dry. Stuffed up noses in the a.m. I don’t know how, but there were four flies in our room that was pestering us. When I went to check out, there was a gentleman there and he was very nice as well.

I paid for a room with multiple beds (2 beds snd a sofa and kitchenette). What i got was a 2 bedroom regular room not a suite. Floor was clean but some bugs in the room. Issue is when I asked at the front desk why i am not getting the room i booked as we booked for 4 adults, the reply was " we are sold out. If u dont want u can cancel for a refund. This is at 930 pm and where were i to go to get a stay? Result is I didnt sleep mostly. Why i didn't get the room I booked for? Why i paid that much and got and inferior room? This is the second time i get a subpar place listed on expedia as very good Cant trust the ratings on Expedia

A lot of attention to detail was given to the exterior renovations/upgrades. Has a nice curb appeal. Interior renovations are standard… (repainting doors/frames, replacing tile, sinks, curtain rods, etc. This place was a great value, and I felt like the owners care about the property, and want to offer a good value.

parking was easy and secure..outside of the hotel, the grounds were clean and well kept..the breakfast was good..the room was clean..the only thing i wouldve liked was a comfortable chair..there was one, but it was hard..we enjoyed our stay though!

The checkin process very easy. Manager was friendly and welcoming. Most importantly the room was clean and serviced during our 2 day stay. Essential Room amenities like microwave and refrigerator were both made available. Overall excellent experience under the current management. I hope it will remain same in future also.
