My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel La Tonnarella while visiting southern Italy. We made this our home base while making some day trips. We had a wonderful experience. Hotel was lovely, clean and staff was welcoming. Views were amazing! I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This hotel was absolutely incredible! Beautiful location overlooking the ocean and town of Sorrento. We loved that it was a little outside of Sorrento but still a quick and easy walk into town. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful during our stay. We also HIGHLY recommend eating at their restaurant on property. The food was some of the best we had on our whole Italy trip, and the view at sunset was unbelievable!

The hotel has no pool. They offer you a private beach, but they charge you for it. The room was quite small and the Internet had problems. €400 a night is a lot to spend for a small room with problems (which they tried to fix and apologized for ) and on top of that they want to charge you to park the car and use their private beach.

Do not stay in room number 9. Everyone thinks it’s the reception and constantly tries to open the door. You hear everyone entering and existing hotel at night and in the morning. Could not sleep, plus multiple groups tried to get in the room making us so uncomfortable. Floors were very dirty but rest of room was fairly clean. Staff was polite and helpful, we just got shafted with the worst room of the hotel.

Wonderful small hotel in a perfect location…close enough to town to easily walk but tucked away on a private cliff to escape the hustle of downtown. Staff was AMAZING and this is now our go-to hotel in Sorrento!
