The pool was disgusting, elevator “out of order” ceiling tiles falling down, and the smell of marijuana so strong you could get a contact high. I addressed the problem with the manager who offered no solution other than “if you don’t like it, you can leave.” My family and I had driven over 30 hours and could not safely find somewhere else to go last minute and had no choice but to stay. There was so much activity outside the room that we felt we needed to barricade the door. We still felt incredibly unsafe and ended up leaving in the middle of the night. I have contacted the police for the illegal drug activity and hopefully this place gets shut down for good.

Good Location

It appeared the hotel was under a lot of repairs. The elevator was out of service and they offered to move us to the first floor but we said we were ok with the stairs since we only had an overnight bag. So they “upgraded” our room. The hallway walls were being prepped for paint and the carpet in the halls was worn and buckled in places making it a trip hazard. Window seals were compromised so the windows were foggy. Curtains were in need of attention or replacement. But the rooms and overall hotel was clean. Staff were friendly and nice. Location was noisy with cars and motorcycles racing in the street but the location of the hotel seemed to be in a safe and more upscale area with many other hotels, shopping, and places to eat. I think we just caught them in the middle of repairs.

Staff left trash bags on every floor and was not cleaned the entire trip. It started to stink every time I walked outside. The rooms themselves were clean and breakfast was standaed

This hotel smelled like mold, the elevator didn’t work, and it was just overall dirty. I not staying there once I found out the elevator didn’t work because I had a handicap person with me, but all hotels in the area were booked due to a Notre Dame game. Trying to get the handicap person and all the luggage up three flights of steps was ridiculous! I was offered a king size bed on floor level, but there was four people so that wouldn’t wor. Later, I read that they had rollaway beds, but I was never offered. I spent two hours (already 3am) on the phone looking for another hotel couldn’t find one decided to sleep in my clothes and left first thing in the morning.

I didn't like the fact i drove hours to get here and just to check in and they tell me the elevators were down so i had to take the stairs. Rooms weren't as clean as i liked. Breakfast was good. The only reason I didn't check out is because it was paid for through Expedia.

Elevator was out of order, room was filthy with bodily fluid residue visible on the couch and curtains (blood, semen), staff was extremely rude, whole building smelled of marijuana, other guests were extremely loud. We ran to a different hotel after 5 minutes in the room. Never stay here.

The pool was not being properly cared for it looked like it needed to be clean and the elevators didn’t work so we had to use the stairs. Plus the food was not kept up on at breakfast time and it didn’t taste very good.

Mold covered bathroom ceiling. Dirt & Grim in bathroom. unwashed bedding, stained shower curtain. Guess there is a rat problem as there were rat traps outside as well as inside the hotel. bathroom faucet barely trinkled out. The pool water was green and cold (not heated as advertised) and ladder was broke.There is no hot tub, only certain rooms with in room hot tubs. There was an exposed outlet hanging off the wall in pool area. Breakfast was microwaved frozen food to which was served to us still partially frozen (eggs, potatoes and biscuits). elevator was not working,hallways smelled like marijuana. Staff was never at the front desk and were always in the back room hanging out. As soon as we arrived and saw the state of the hotel, we asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere and were denied. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The place was terrible! The smoke detectors were ripped out of the ceiling. Chipped paint on the ceiling. Plaster on the walls in the hallways. The carpet is very dirty and buckled up in the hallways. The elevators did not work. we were scared to go to sleep with people yelling in the hallway all night.

I’ve stayed here twice. the first time was great, only thing was the breakfast area was dirty both times. but this time i was very disappointed… my boyfriend and I were on vacation, hence why we were sleeping in.. but every day housekeeping came earlier and earlier, banging on the door and quite literally coming in while we were sleep. They should come at a scheduled (acceptable) time each day not when the main is rising. Will only come back here if I am on an extreme budget.
