It was understaffed, and the staff was not frienldly at all. For example, at breakfast when we mentioned that the coffee pot was empty, the staff person acted very annoyed and didn’t even apologize even though we apologized that we needed coffee! Also, the place was extremely noisy. Our room was abominable with no closet and no drawers to put anything….just pegs on the wall. It was so tiny that there was hardly room for two people. There was no space for luggage. There was only one chair for sitting, and it was difficult to maneuver it in the tiny area of our room. What a disappointment when we spent a lot of money for this room. Hilton should be ashamed to have their name associated with a place like this. The building is situated in a rundown area of town. All in all this was a terrible experience. Needless to say, we will NEVER stay at a Tru Hilton again.

It’s nice for short term stays. It needs upgrade on the bathtub and adding security box. The hotel doesn’t have a carpet floor that’s a good place for staying and beautiful decorations.

The reasoning for the less than perfect rating is that the sound transfer from other rooms and the room above us was a reminder of my long ago days of living in cheap apartments where you could not avoid the noise. But in this day and age, I shouldn’t be able to hear tpeiole walking in the floor above me and I sure shouldn’t be able to hear talking in the room right next door to me. Bad acoustical design and infrastructure. Did NOT get a good night’s sleep due to this. The staff was great!
