The two girls that checked us in were not very hospitable, they were not informative and we pretty much had to ask info. On both days that we stayed, we would wake up to dead cockroaches in the bathroom. That is very unsettling and gross.

This is in a great spot for a vacation on SPI. It’s right next to the beach and great access to island attractions. Yes it needs an update but it is ok and nothing terrible to deal with. We stayed at the condos and view was superb and we got front seats to fireworks! Only thing we didn’t like was the CRAZY amount of people smoking in the pool area. We went at different times and there was always someone smoking and you can breathe that while in pool. Talked to security guard at pool and he said it was fine to do it and if you didn’t have an ash trays “then whatever”. If you are a decent family that doesn’t smoke in front of their children or others then find a different place. It is sad but won’t come back until they change their smoking policy.

Management had decided to do repair work by using drilling machines beside our room even though we were at the room. This was ridiculous, even though they changed my room, I could hear that drilling noise from the new room. Room was smelling all the time, I could see stains on bedsheets. There were roaches and bugs near the balcony door. This Resort is not luxurious, if you need luxury please don’t pay for this.

We loved the beachfront room, but our neighbors were noisy. The first night (Friday, 8/9) was the last night for a Lifeguard competition and the band was outside our balcony and played late. The next night, the couple in the connecting room were playing loud music and singing (among other loud activities) at 3:30 AM. Sunday night was the first night our sleep was uninterrupted. Thankfully, this was not my first trip and I packed enough earplugs for us. The property grounds, beach and water were wonderful. Two pools -- water was warmer than expected but still good. Prices for all services should be upfront since we were surprised we had to pay $42 a day to rent an umbrella and 2 lounge chairs that would be collected at 6 pm. My previous vacations have been all-inclusive and this hotel was listed based on an all-inclusive search. We were disappointed that our wristbands did not include food/drink at the pool, but there are lots of less expensive places in the area to dine so get a rental car. The quoted price is just for the room and access to the beach. I definitely learned to read the results of my search before booking.

The front desk staff were not friendly at all. We booked two rooms, but they made a mistake with the location or view of one of them. When we asked the manager for help, he was very rude, unprofessional, and didn’t seem to care at all. I also found cockroaches in the room. Other than that, the location was good, and the pool was clean, but the game room needs some upgrades as a few items were missing or needed to be replaced.

First off, pictures make you think this place is really nice, but it’s deceiving, the actual rooms are Motel quality and the walls are paper thin! We had to love to another room due the kids in the next room literally bouncing off the walls. The next room was the same, the dog next door would not stop barking and then they started doing construction work on the rooms above us, as if the noise wasn’t loud enough, the workers were crude and very loud, laughing and goofing around. Never again!!
