I booked one of their most expensive rooms labeled as “ocean view double room,” but it was nothing like advertised. The room had two BEDS not two ROOMS and the “ocean view” was barely there—we mostly saw the garden. It felt very misleading. When I mentioned it to the front desk, they said they couldn’t do anything about it and there was no solution. I tried to be understanding, but the room also had ants crawling everywhere and it got in me and my family’s shoes and the room looked nothing like the photos. Customer service was poor and not worth the high price. This is the last time I book with Expedia.

This property is dated. The toilets broke about 3-4 times in two different rooms. I would not consider it “resort” worthy. The staff is hit or miss depending on who you deal with. Our check in experience was awful and we almost left right away. For being in the hospitality business, they sure don’t show it or recognize that some of their customers spend thousands and thousands of dollars on the stay and flights alone. I expect to be greeted in a friendly manner, at the very least. We will be back to south padre, but will not stay here again.

Two pool options, limited selection coffee shop but still a good cup of joe, multiple food options, bar open nightly with entertainment, staff was GREAT! Room was clean! Would definitely stay here again! Right on the beach with umbrella and chair rentals available! Close to everything in town! Made for a perfect vacation!

This is a motel, bugs getting into the rooms, people walking by your door at all hours. They make you wear a bracelet because they can't keep the locals out, overall I would say go somewhere else.
