New furniture is nice. Paint mostly looks good. Lots of outlets. Comfortable bed. Just one drawer placed too close to closet, dangerous to shins. Rust mark (hopefully) in bathtub. Breakfast not what it was. Coolers/food not allowed in pool area unless you just bring it in and then feed the gulls.

Pros: Overall an amazing stay for the value! The staff is attentive and nice, and there is cleaning going on at all times of the day. The breakfast is good and the made to order omelet stand is an amazing touch. There are plenty of beachside bars nearby with a good variety of food and it’s close to the pier on the beach, providing options for a balance of shade and sun. Cons: The parking is a little rough (you might have to park super far away), but there are bell carts to help with getting your luggage inside. It’s a little noisy, especially on the first floor as people (and children) are constantly walking by on the way to the beach/ pool, and you can hear things being dropped above you. Overall the pros far outweigh the cons and we had a great stay!

Some Improvements would make the stay much better

We recently rented a family room and wanted to provide some feedback that could help enhance the guest experience. The purpose of our stay was to accommodate five people, but upon arrival, we noticed a few details that could be improved to ensure a smoother check-in and stay. To begin, the room was missing some key amenities. We found only two bath towels provided, which was not sufficient for our group. Similarly, the shower's dispenser was nearly empty of shampoo and completely out of conditioner. We also noted that the shower was missing a curtain, and the fold-out sofa bed did not have any sheets prepared for use. These are all quick fixes that would make a big difference for future guests. Additionally, we had a non-functioning coffee machine in our room. We made a special trip to the front desk to report the issue and were told a replacement would be sent to the room, but unfortunately, it never arrived. This led to us needing to make several separate trips to the front desk to resolve these issues. On one occasion, the front desk seemed to be unattended, which made it difficult to get assistance. Improving communication and ensuring staff are available would be a great way to streamline the service experience. While the overall stay was adequate, addressing these specific points would significantly enhance a guest's comfort and convenience. We believe these are opportunities for the hotel to make small adjustments that lead to a much more positive experience.

Good Beach Vacay!

Sand Rose is an older resort nestled between two newer hotels.The friendly staff was in constant motion to keep hallways clean and safe. Even though there were bars on both sides, the hotel is quiet. Both bars can be reached by just walking through a gate near the pool. You walk past the pool and down a few steps to the beach. There's lots of patio space adjacent to the pool; some areas are covered. The two showers/faucets for rinsing off when returning to the pool area are in need of an upgrade. The room was nice with comfortable beds and daily housekeeping. The tiny balcony was useful to dry sandy beach shoes/towels. The breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. We had our Golden Retriever with us, and the pet area was easily accessible and clean.
