We liked the property for being on the beach and next to in-laws and the price. But, we often had to call for things we needed as they did not service our room for some reason. We were there for a week and without asking the room was serviced twice. The lobby and restaurant were freezing because the temps outside were cold. By the last day there was mold on the wood trim around windows.

Service and staff were great, but Holiday Inn or IHG desperately needs to put some money into the place. Room was ok, but mostly everything just felt a little ragged and outdated.

The rooms were smelly. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Look like mold on the wall. Toilet wouldn’t shut off. No ice makers on any floors working. No directions for tv and bin phone to call to ask. Not the quality I expected from a holiday inn!!

I could not give a 5-star for a few minor things. The room amenities were definitely dated except for the tv. We had an Oceanview but the exterior of the window was so dirty we couldn’t enjoy it. When we were outside we noted several windows the same. I noted 2 AED that were not functioning (I used to install them). When they turnover the rooms, be sure to stock everything, TP, remote controls, Kleenex, coffee cups, etc. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again myself.
