The Casco Bay Hotel was nice but it is hidden behind the mall. We arrived to the hotel around 6:30pm on Saturday and the mall was empty. The room was fine, however when attempting to check out the next morning we learned that the young man that was supposed to be tending the front desk had to go run an errand and the only other employee was a lady that was trying to take care of the breakfast buffet and running back and forth to the front desk telling people he would be right back. He eventually came back and by that time there were several people waiting to check out. I requested a receipt and he was unable to print one for me. He then told me that I would send one via email but I never received it. Hotel gets a 4 for accommodations, but a 2 for service.

Property was great. Unfortunately one of the desk clerks was very rude (didn't get his name). He was also our van driver to the airport and he drove very fast and even went through a red light. We felt nervous and concerned about our safety.

The King size bed was super comfy. The staff that checked us in and out was not. There was no thank you or you’re welcome, no conversation, zero customer service. I was not a fan of the hardwood floors it was cold and no rugs. The air conditioner sucked, it made a lot of unusual noises and super loud. Tons of shops nearby, very convenient next to the airport. Maid service was really nice and polite so were the grounds keeper, front desk was horrible.

1. The clock didn’t work. Was broken. Replaces after I informed them! 2. No drink machines. Has two kinds of soda in a fridge…COKE and Canada Dry Ginger Ale and water. 3. Snacks consisted of few bags of chips! 4. You deduct a deposit and get my money in 3 seconds but tell me 7-10 days to put it back in my account.
