The platform beds are not user friendly for 5’ senior citizens. I had to climb on a chair ( with wheels 😳) to climb into bed. The wheeled chair was unbalanced and not safe to use. The light over the desk did not work. I doubt this room/hotel is ADA compliant.

Budget friendly, no frills
Fitness room is very basic and is the place they store TVs. Was able to row and use some weights. Bed was comfy. The first night there was some high pitched beeping during the middle of the night. Nothing consistent like an alarm, but sporadic and definitely disruptive. I will look elsewhere next visit to Portland.

Cross this place off my list!!
The only positives were a very cold refrigerator, reasonably comfortable bed, and TV with premium channels. Oh, and water pressure in shower was good. I hated touching any surface in the room. Old candy and hairballs on floor behind chair, toothpaste on bathroom walls, shower moldy, towels and washcloths thin, and one washcloth smelled like chemicals and was spotted black. Have never seen less appealing food. Trash right next to waffle station was overflowing. Coffee, when there was any, was lukewarm at best. My breakfast consisted of yogurt and coffee. Hotel looked cute and inviting in pictures, but a boutique hotel it’s not. It was tacky, dirty, and poorly maintained. Finally, elevator inspection expired last day of September!!

Clean, comfortable room. Cluttered hallways.
No complaints about the room itself. Comfortable, clean, and generally quiet. Shower was high-powered and plenty of towels. I'd stay again. But housekeeping left carts everywhere in hallways. I had three carts within ten feet of my room door the entire week I was there and they were never put away or moved. On the ground floor, there were more housekeeping carts and equipment that rarely were gone when I left the hotel and required getting around when people were waiting to board the elevator when you got off. It's a small thing, but I found it annoying. Desk staff were unenthusiastic about their job and I had multiple communication problems with them. They did their job, but I never felt welcomed by them, even on arrival. Location was great, short walk to the mall and supermarket, and easy access to the highway to get away.
