The location of the resort was great. The receptionist greeted us with a nice smile.all the staff were very kind and very helpful the restaurant in the facilitate the food was delicious. we had a beautiful view of the ocean. our room was clean all around The facility was very clean and organized. The sunset was magical sitting out on the deck having the view of the ocean there was a lot of birds and bunnies very nice scenery calming the pool was clean. A Lot of things to do on the resort, but if you want to go out of the resort there are nearby restaurants, there’s a nearby movie theater, mini golf and lotta things to do on and off the resort overall, I recommend the Red Jacket Resort to anybody that would like to get away with a loved one or with your family.

Dirty and loud hotel, walls are paper thin and people are partying all night. We were given a room where toilet wasn’t working and they offered for us to stay there while they were taking out the toilet. They gave us another room after complaining to the manager, not without resistance and very unapologetically! Wouldn’t stay there again if it were free.

Everything was great , staff was so nice and super friendly. The bathroom in our room was a bit dirty, and some of the blankets were also dirty. It was a bit hard to navigate when we first got there due to user error and a staff member was quick to escort us. The indoor pool was amazing and this place is SUPER KID FRIENDLY. It was the first time my husband and I took our toddler away on our own and it felt really safe , and there was plenty for us to do .

Stayed here just before the start of summer season and it was marvelous! Staff was friendly and helped with suggestions of things to do. Our room was ocean front and very clean. Comfortable beds, nice beach and pool area. The complimentary bikes were nice to tool around in in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Our stay was during the off season (early May) so the property was very quiet. Location is great. Our negative experience was that the mini-fridge did not work 2 of the 3 days of our stay. We reported the problem to the front desk but it was not fixed. Some electrical outlets and both reading lights did not work.

We stayed during April Vacation, booked two rooms for our large family. First the good, the property is on the ocean, has an indoor heated (sometimes not so heated) pool. The grounds were clean. The rooms were nice, they look newly remodeled and I enjoyed the fact that they had laminate flooring instead of carpet. The beds were ok. Every staff member we came into contact with was pleasant. The things that could be improved.. The biggest issue we had was that our young children were playing on the small deck outside of our room, they were in their bathing suits as we had come from the pool. They both had at 20 if not more slivers in their feet and hands. This is a huge safety issue and should be addressed immediately. The other issues were minuscule but being that the hotel is not cheap and we have stayed at many hotels on the Cape, they are worth mentioning. No microwave in room Only a few tv channels No snack vending machines and the drink one took $3 one night and then stopped working The hotel restaurant is way overpriced! And I don’t think I saw the waitress smile at any customer the entire time we were in there. The food was ok. There is no little shop for convenience items, which is always nice if a traveler forget something or needs a snack (again no vending machines for such items) A small playgroup would be great. They do have one big swing on the river side of the property. The activities were good but the times were poorly planned.
