Constant noise of generators. Facilities extremely basic - no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room, no hair dryer. Shower was a plastic pod. The room was generally clean with a few stains here and there and the bed comfortable and I did not expect much for £79, but not worth it.

Only one plug to charge phone watch etc… Clean & small. It’s okay for one night’s stay Very close to the cruises and the railway station. We walked to both. Next to it was a Tgif which was not good. Breakfast at Mc do which is also 10 metres from the hotel

Just to say this was one of the most comfiest beds I have been in during a hotel stay in a long time, unfortunately also one of the loudest hotels I’ve stayed in. I didn’t manage to sleep as there is so much activity throughout the night in and around the hotel, doors slamming and loud voices outside at 2.30am. Our accessible room had plenty of space but not ideal with the child’s bed positioned above the double, my son has Cerebral Palsy and found it difficult to get into bed. It is in a great position though, only a 20 minutes walk away from the port we needed.

Awwful

On arrival there were 2 people running out the atmosphere made me feel very unsure /unsafe although 2 girls on check in were lovely I contacted hotels .com on chat who said they would email /contact hotel but no response I had asked if possible to change to Gatwick no communication received to resolve this so I had no choice hotel advertised as city centre but 10 minute walk to city centre along dual carriageway or through industrial park not ideal when on own. No option to have breakfast or leave case in morning as gentleman said they had been busy no room and no croissants etc another guest had to request bread to make toast and so I had to leave accommodation without breakfast generally run down and certainly no where near warrants the £177 I had to pay feeling totally ripped off and no support which is shocking I have done a lot of bookings with hotel.com and expect better especially for £177 bed only !!

There was no air conditioning and we didn’t know this until we arrived in our room. The window only open a few inches. We are the front desk as to why the air conditioning wasn’t working and found out then that there was none. Our room was sweltering!

We arrived early, instead of just dropping our luggage they let us book early. Thanks very much for that. The room is clean , bed comfortable, water of plenty and that’s all I needed prior embarking on a cruise. The price is very affordable.

The staff were really helpful and friendly and we had a good stay however the cleaning in our room was not so much. Especially on our last day… PS: it would be worth replacing the kettles. Ours was really disgusting inside.

Was near a McDonald's,TGIF,IKEA,A small mall and the Southampton Central Train station.All walkable distance of less than 5 minutes from the hotel.The room smelt very clean.Didnt like how tea stuff were not in the room.Apparently you have to request the kettle etc. and pay a 10 pound deposit to get them,the money is returned when kettle etc. are returned.

Room was functional and clean. Iif you are sticking to a budget and you just need somewhere to sleep, with just the basics, then this is ok. Check in was straightforward. Our room was ready for a refurb and the view from our window wasn’t great. The area seemed ok, but a bit run down. Approx 10 mins walk to city centre, which is handy
