Place is pretty basic and room is quite small but for the price can't complain. We only needed two nights stay in Southampton before a cruise trip and didn't need anything luxury. This place fit the bill and is super close to the cruise terminal and national express bus station.

It is convenient in location but you cannot imagine a 3-people bedroom without an enclosed dry area in bathroom that you can change and wear clothes before/after shower. You can only change clothes in the open area inside the room! While the toilet is a separate room. It is only suitable for family. It would be very embarrassing for friends. And there are only 2 sockets for charging… and no hand towel provided (only the large bath towel).

Dire. So basic and minimal; in the room(cell) there was a bunk bed over the double, when we had requested double & sofa bed. The shower door opened into the room and there was a small, separate toilet. All very scruffy and unwelcoming. Not at all noise proof. The entrance/outside was also unwelcoming and quite unnerving. Usually use prem inn for basic hotel but they were fully booked so had to come here; never again. The price was that of prem inn but the standard was so much worse ..regretted not going to Novotel opposite, but at time of booking, couldn't justify paying £200 when we were only staying to ensure we made an early appt in the town centre (due to local roadworks making the usual 20 minute journey take over 2 hours!) Would not recommend.

The room was clean but lacked sone amenities such as a small washing cloths. Elevator broke down so we had to climb 4 flights of stairs to enter and exit. The front desk staff weren’t dressed to a standard you would normally see in a hotel, street cloths and didn’t look clean

Room clean. When went for breakfast- no yogurt, almost no bread, no bowls for cereal/yoghurt. No normal semi milk. Tea almost optional. Told lack was due to being a bank holiday. Glad when another woman came and took over from me to ask for lacking items. Won’t have breakfast here again.

Pre cruise stay

Easy check in , friendly staff. Paid £6 for tea and coffee and a kettle for use in the room for which I am happy . However less happy about paper cups .
