We stayed prior to a cruise. Easy to walk to from bus station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant in the lobby.

We found the staff to be very good.
We were disappointed in the single electrical outlet in the sleeping area, which would not accommodate a USA plug.
We both have CPAP machines and only one outlet that would not accommodate a USA plug.
Will not use this Ibis again.
Staff very helpful and friendly cheerful. Breakfast very good. Evening meal fair. The Greek salad was very odd. A bowl of olives, green beans,and feta mostly and no dressing. Pizza was good.
The room was exceptionally small and the hallway carpet was quite tired with various stains. Needs replacing. Lobby area and restaurant very nice and welcoming with a nice lounging area and small bar.
I have stayed here a few times and although the rooms are showing signs of their age they are always clean and tidy with the usual room facilities available. They staff are always friendly and happy to help.
The restaurant area is very clean and well presented with the addition of a bar right by reception. There are also plenty of alternatives within walking distance if you want something different.
Great location for connecting transport links with the central train station, national express coach station, bus stops, cruise terminal and Isle of Wight ferrys within a short walk or drive plus Southampton airport is about 8 miles away.
I enquired prior to booking that they could offer gluten free food. They said yes.
Upon arrival we asked again they said they had pizza, when pushed it was not gf. They were happy to give my wife food that would make her I'll. only option was chips.
Breakfast was better with more options.
But overall very disappointed, we will not stay there again. Prior to retirement I was a Platinum Accor member for many years, but for now we will avoid Inis hotels.
We stayed at this hotel for the location as it was near the cruise port, however the room was very small and basic and very hot, although there was a fan provided. The breakfast was abysmal with very little choice, if any at all. The kitchen would put out four eggs at a time, six sausages, etc. Hardly professional and the staff were rude when guests asked if there was more.
