This property is in the historic area of Southampton. So it has aesthetic qualities that are unique and charming! We would recommend this property to everyone but especially those folks coming from a cruise ship at Southampton, then flying out of Southampton airport. Amazing stay, thank you!!

Fantastic stay. What a beautiful hotel. From the staff to the decor, everything was perfect. The room was clean. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous. The breakfast was lovely. The smell in the hotel was lovely as well.

Brilliant Boutique Hotel
A fantastic small hotel. Made very welcome on arrival and stored suitcases as we were early. When we returned, the suitcases had been put in our room. The room was lovely and of a very high standard. There was complimentary drinks and snacks and breakfast served in the room in the morning. Would definitely be our number one choice in Southampton.

We stayed at No. 4 Carlton the night before our cruise. This hotel was perfect. The room was spacious and well appointed, the staff was exceptional, and the service was top notch. The location was convenient and within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping.

It truly was a “boutique” hotel experience. Must stay hotel!
We had an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful, the design of the room was amazing, the hospitality was out of this world, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. We will 100% be staying here again, worth every penny and the best hotel experience we have had. I even received a phone call informing me my partner had left his contacts, very thoughtful gesture!
