Great staff. What's missing , Help with your luggage when your room is upstairs ( no elevators )
Also very important , we stayed in the annex building , put a light at the door entrance . At nighttime one can't even find the key hole for the door.Otherwise great hotel .also good food

Left the car here while we went on a cruise.
As we stayed on a Sunday the hotel restaurant wasnt open, but we eat out up the road which was fine.
Really disappointed in the hotel. Booked last year and was fine, this time we had a room way round the back. Had to manoeuvre through parked cars with cases to find our room in the dark (both have mibility issues). No help whatsoever with cases or directions apart from receptionist pointing the way. Left cases and went to bar (down a steep flight of stairs) to be told it was last orders! 10pm it closed. Breakfast was fine apart from the very moody server.
Had the refurbished room which was good. The parking was dreadful as the hotel used the space to park cruise passengers. Breakfast was very good. Bit of a distance from centre of city, good for ParkRun though.
Stayed here one night before cruise, parked the car and picked it up after cruise ended. we had a lovely breakfast. The room was new and very clean and comfortable.
Would recommend the hotel to others and have already booked to return.
Took the bus into town of the morning after breakfast, stops are outside so not far to walk.
