Second stay at this hotel.
This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The hotel is pet friendly, which was why I booked it. I did feel that the surcharge of £30 was a bit high, but then you do get a comprehensive goody bag for your pet. The reception staff were fantastic once again, providing a silky smooth check in. My only gripe is the £10 parking fee. I feel that if you are staying at the hotel this should be wavered. Will definitely stay here again.

It is quite central for getting to Southend and surrounding areas. It's restaurant has a view directly over Southend Airport runways, which I thought was cool.

Brilliant hotel
Lovely hotel, room was a nice size. There was a mini fridge in the particular room type I selected which was nice. The hand soap and body wash that they provided smelt amazing and the bed was very comfortable.

It was our second stay at The Holiday Inn Hotel in Southend and it was excellent. Easy check in, all staff were friendly and excellent service. The room was a very good size and was spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom with fabulous smelling toiletries. Everything you would need was in the room including a safe. The breakfast was excellent so much choice. Easy parking at the hotel cost £10.00 a night. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was very impressed with the hotel and the staff and would definitely stay here again. It’s a shame there is an extra charge to park but it is as easy to do this with the reception staff. The customer service was great and the rooftop restaurant and bar was great with delicious food for both the lunch and breakfast menu. A real feel good factor. I’m sure we will be back
